About the Artist
My name is Hayden Hedeen, I am an artist originally from Atlanta Georgia now based out of Austin Texas. I do primarily digital art but am also a linocut/relief process printmaker with a penchant for bright colors and a love of bears, cats, and anything fantasy.
I am a professional artist. I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2021 with a BFA in animation but discovered that while I love animation, it wasn't the artform for me. I went back to school graduated with an MFA in Sequential Arts to become a comics creator instead.
While in school, I got a break from digital artwork by trying out relief printmaking and fell in love with the medium. I've created many traditional prints using woodcut and linoleum and interned at my school as a teaching assistant showing underclassman how to do relief prints.
I've done design work for The Home Depot creating internal use workflow maps, directed a short animated film during undergrad, and was the lead character designer for my undergrad these film, DOORS.
