Freestyle
Freestyle is a 20 page done for my Graduate thesis assignment. On a literal level, this comic is about a swimmer turning more and more into a fish monster, but on a metaphorical level it is about the feelings of isolation and self-hatred a closeted queer person faces on a day to day basis. Struggling with their gender and sexual identity, Daria tries to repress their identity instead of coming to terms with it and eventually gets help from a beautiful mermaid lifeguard, Serena.
Deer in the Headlights
Deer in the headlights is a 5 page horror comic made for the "'Yer a Wizard Bestie!!" Anthology. Two teenage girls, Amy and Michelle accidentally hit and kill a deer with their car and haphazardly call upon the devil to bring it back to life.
Fantasy High
Fantasy High is a work in progress fan adaptation of the Dropout.tv show Dimension20: Fantasy High. The show is a real play Dungeons and Dragons game and follows a crew of teenagers as they attend Highschool at the Aguefort Adventuring Academy. This adaptation is 10 pages long and covers roughly the second half of the series' first episode. It has been a passion project I've worked on when I have free time as a fan of the show.
Her Garden
Her Garden is a short horror comic about a gardener tasked with maintaining the garden of a rich widowed man. What the gardener doesn't know however is his employer murdered his late wife, hiding her body in the gardens, and she now seeks revenge by consuming anyone who enters it.
Albrun
A short comic about a ship's hand and a veteran captain aboard an old-timey cargo vessel. The captain recounts how and why she must pay tribute to the sea before every voyage, out of fear of her ship being sunk by a mythical aquatic goddess of greed who collects the wreckage and spoils of ships she encounters.
